Just want to say thank you to Ketonaija. It has not been easy, but 5 months on, I am a comfortable size 10 from a size 14. I love my natural look, but my new year resolution is to learn how to make up because I am going to rock the new me.... I stopped bread, substituted rice for cabbage and cauliflower, stopped milk and replaced with an alternative, stopped cereals completely, that made a whole lot of difference. Have to add, that during my pregnancy I had gestational diabetics. Once I gave birth the Dr said I needed to do a follow up check after 6 weeks to determine whether I should continue with my insulin. The fact that I did not want to be labelled a diabetic motivated me to give keto a try. I am happy to add that there is no trace of diabetics whatsoever when o had a repeat test in August.
